Yoga, skiing and more film fests…
Happy new year everyone!
The day after the last post I went to yoga in the morning and chilled out. I remained in bliss after that.
January 2 was spent sitting on the bleachers in pouring rain on Colorado Blvd in Pasadena, watching soggy floats go by. We actually had a lot of fun. Actually, what was more fun was driving up Colorado Blvd. the day before the parade and looking at all the wet people camped out on the street the day before. Yeah, that was funny…
…until we became one of those people. And then it was still funny, but then we were laughing at ourselves. At least we were only clueless enough to be out there for 3 hours. :-p
Went up to Mammoth after the parade to enjoy the 100 inches of fresh snow they had received. Weather was awesome! Snow was even better!
Back to work: Submitted Real vs. Reel to another 2 festivals. Moviefone runs a festival that I thought was cool because they’re partners with AOL and if they like what they see there are many opportunities for podcasts and digital promotion.
The other festival is an online film festival. I don’t have the name or details in front of me right now, but I’ll definitely mention it when it starts (if I get in). Real vs. Reel will be online and I might need your vote. That will also give you a chance to see it if you haven’t yet.
Also, I am having difficulty with uploading Real vs. Reel onto ifilm.com. I’ll figure it out eventually, but it’s not too urgent, especially if it ends up on the film festival website.
I’ve started working on another project. I prefer to talk about my projects when they become more concrete, so that’s all I’m going to say about it right now. But things are rolling along and I’m really happy about that.
If you haven’t seen Gray’s Anatomy yet (Sundays on ABC), I highly recommend watching it. It’s an awesome show! I’ve been watching since day one and haven’t missed an episode.
That’s all for now! Take care…
